Job Title: Landscaping Foreman/Woman

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at RMJ & N.C. Landscaping Construction Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance, organizing and directing construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls, and maintaining work records and logs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including lawn care, pruning, and planting.
  • Organize and direct construction of decks, decorative walls, and other outdoor structures.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, including hiring and supervising staff.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, including tracking hours worked and materials used.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other outdoor power equipment.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to the elements.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy loads, including equipment and materials.
  • Ability to work at heights, including climbing ladders and scaffolding.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and have good visual acuity.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership and guidance to staff.
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed outdoors, with frequent exposure to the elements.
  • Work will be performed in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and pressure to complete tasks.
  • Work will involve lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy loads, including equipment and materials.
  • Work will involve working at heights, including climbing ladders and scaffolding.
Security and Safety:
  • Criminal record check required.
  • Driver's validity license check required.
Transportation/Travel Information:
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Vehicle supplied by employer.
