Job Summary:
The Executive Chef Manager will lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff, managing food preparation, inventory, and cleaning duties. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies and equipment, maintaining records, and training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Lead and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring timely ordering and restocking.
Clean and maintain a clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Degree not required, but previous culinary education or training an asset.
