Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Eagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody, B.C. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient/resident/family's actual and potential strengths and limitations, including physiological, psychological, socio-cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Provide a supportive environment for patient/resident/family, promoting involvement in healthcare decisions and respecting personal choices.
  • Contribute to individualized plan of care development and ongoing changes, attending multidisciplinary care planning meetings and family conferences.
  • Deliver nursing care according to agency policies, technology, and standards, evaluating outcomes and recording observations.
  • Perform admissions, discharges, and transfers according to operating policies and procedures.
  • Document and update relevant care information to ensure patient/resident safety and comfort.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Knowledge and competencies to work at full scope of practice, including administering medications.

Salary Information
