About the Role
BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide direct health care services to clients with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide acute and community health nursing care to clients with concurrent psychiatric and/or substance abuse/misuse disorders.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, clients, families, and community to identify and resolve health issues.
- Maintain accurate computerized and paper records in accordance with established procedures and policies.
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as an RN or RPN with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Two years' recent experience providing acute or community health nursing care/services to clients who have concurrent psychiatric and/or substance abuse/misuse disorders.
