Job Summary

Cameron Driver Education 2018 Ltd. is seeking a skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for identifying staffing requirements, preparing job postings, and screening applicants. You will also advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, review candidate inventories, and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Collect and screen applicants, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements, terms and conditions of employment, and company policies.
  • Review candidate inventories and make recommendations for interviews.
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and notify them of the outcome.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with managers and employees to ensure effective staffing and recruitment practices.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Excel, and MS Word.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with newcomers and refugees, including facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
  • Knowledge of social and labour market integration programs and services.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
