About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency and Demand Response Solutions Director to join our team at Power TakeOff, Inc. This is a critical role that requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the utility industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercialization strategy for new products and services within the utility DSM industry, focusing on nonresidential energy efficiency and demand response solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end commercialization process from concept development to pilot testing to full-scale implementation, ensuring alignment with client needs, market demand, business objectives, and regulatory requirements.
  • P&L responsibility for the Commercialization department.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of commercialization initiatives.
  • Make strategic decisions to balance project objectives with fiscal responsibility, contributing to the company's growth and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercialization, product development, or project management roles within the energy industry, preferably in utility DSM, energy efficiency, or demand response, and preferably in the nonresidential sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing new products or services to market, from ideation to commercialization, with a focus on driving business growth and customer value.
  • Strong understanding of utility operations, regulatory environment, and market dynamics related to energy efficiency and demand response programs.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering high-performing programs that are responsive to client needs and address internal and external strategic objectives.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. The position also comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA), SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with company matching, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
