Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Dengarry Professional Services Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with intellectual, physical, and mental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The Support Worker will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores. You will also be required to accompany clients to appointments and social outings, and provide emotional support and companionship.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with meal preparation and household chores
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of client progress and care
Requirements:
  • Developmental Services Worker (DSW) Training
  • Mandt System training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
