Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the senior's quality of life.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning.
  • Help with mobility and physical exercises to maintain the senior's independence.
  • Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs to ensure the senior receives the best possible care.
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Accompany the senior to appointments, errands, or social activities, if necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in caregiving, nursing, or a related field is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patient, empathetic, and genuinely committed to helping others.
