Patient Support Associate

Job Summary:

Viesca Residence is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Support Associate to join our team. As a Patient Support Associate, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Accompany residents on outdoor activities, promoting physical and mental well-being.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and maintain a safe environment.
  • Prepare meal trays and feed residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Make beds and maintain residents' rooms, promoting a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Supervise residents' exercise routines, promoting physical activity and mobility.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and bend, crouch, or kneel as needed.
  • Reliable, dependable, and efficient interpersonal skills.
