The Consumer Insights Specialist role at CB Canada is designed to support the Marketing and Technology divisions by delivering vital market, client, and consumer intelligence. This information empowers the organization to make informed decisions regarding product features, positioning, messaging, and overall marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive market research and analysis across various departments within the company.
- Regularly assess the competitive landscape to pinpoint strengths and opportunities that can enhance product and market positioning.
- Present complex data in an accessible manner, utilizing visual aids such as graphs and charts.
- Stay informed on business and economic trends pertinent to the financial services sector, ensuring awareness of market developments and best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, advising on the creation and implementation of surveys that align with the organization’s objectives.
- Manage the survey process, which includes setup, programming, testing, data collection, coding, and data tabulation.
- Monitor and report on the progress of research projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and deliverables.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a research-oriented environment (Market Research certifications are advantageous).
- Comprehensive understanding of research methodologies, information sources, and statistical analysis techniques.
- Proficient in survey software such as Qualtrics and Survey Monkey.
- Strong quantitative research skills, along with analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with research database tools like Statista and Gartner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good analytical capabilities with the ability to utilize data to inform strategies and decisions.
- A passion for understanding customer needs and interpreting their insights.
- Interest in the financial services and technology sectors is a plus.
