Job Summary

The National Field Associate Director is a key leadership position at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada), responsible for leading a team of Estate Planning Advisor Associates across Canada. This role requires strong people management, coaching, and stakeholder management experience, with a proven track record of developing and overseeing diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach a team of highly skilled support staff, ensuring effective day-to-day operations of fast-paced insurance practices.
  • Develop key relationships with Estate Planning Advisors for continuous feedback on the team's performance.
  • Participate in WISI National Office Management Team meetings and strategic initiatives, providing input and feedback as required.
  • Contribute to setting performance objectives for the team, tracking and monitoring performance, and addressing or rewarding it in a timely manner.
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for all hires, ensuring a diverse, qualified workforce that achieves business objectives.
  • Champion operational improvements and coordinate the implementation of new policies and procedures to enhance the client experience.
  • Remain abreast of client feedback on service quality and engage the Business Oversight & Best Practices team to coach the team towards preventing issues and improving the client experience.
  • Assist the team with day-to-day problem resolution and escalation requests.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of related people manager experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Insurance, industry, and carrier partners.
  • Requires strong knowledge of Insurance systems, applications, processes, and procedures.
  • Excellent people management, coaching, and stakeholder management experience.
  • Strong process management knowledge and understanding of the business and operational functions of areas supported.
  • Excellent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle critical and/or high-risk issues.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health and well-being benefits, savings and retirement programs, paid time off, banking benefits, and discounts.
