Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Brandt Group of Companies.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive sales growth and market share for our Utility Trailers product line.

This role requires a strong understanding of the heavy construction and forestry equipment industry, as well as excellent sales, marketing, and business development skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement distribution strategy for Utility Trailer product line
  • Collaborate with sales team to develop and implement plans for growing Brandt sales with dealers
  • Aid sales team in achieving Brandt's product sales growth by providing high-level product knowledge and application expertise
  • Coordinate and participate in delivering ongoing local product knowledge and application training for regional sales and dealer sales teams
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to ensure Brandt's pricing, programs, and marketing strategies are positioned to penetrate new markets and grow existing markets profitably
  • Identify product development opportunities that promote differentiation, enhance market penetration, and deliver increased profit opportunities for Brandt
  • Provide insights and input on the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and profitability goals
  • Participate in end customer visits with sales teams as required
  • Ensure all dealers are capable of handling the Brandt product utility trailer line
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of sales and/or product or technical support experience in heavy construction and forestry equipment working with manufacturers and/or dealers
  • Excellent sales, marketing, and business development experience in equipment distribution
  • Strong working product and industry knowledge of Utility Trailers
  • Ability to obtain or possess a valid passport and travel internationally
