Job Summary:
The Senior UX Researcher will be responsible for leading UX research efforts for our robotic handling product, On-Grid Robotic Pick. This role will involve conducting research into the software and hardware aspects of the product and partnering with Product Managers to understand and align effort with roadmap objectives and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute UX research plans to gain deep insights into user behaviors, needs, and motivations.
- Utilize a variety of research methods, including usability testing and analysis, to inform product development.
- Provide research insights to Product Managers to enable data-informed decision-making.
- Contribute to UX deliverables and artefacts that meet user and product stream missions and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore multiple approaches to problems and drive UX maturity in the space.
- Challenge ideas and validate solutions using data and insights from end users, retailers, and stakeholders.
- Understand product and user access constraints to determine effective research methodologies.
- Juggle multiple projects and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
- Appreciate the importance of achieving an embedded UX approach to product development and create that with limited resources.
Requirements:
- Strong prior experience in UX research, ideally in a B2B and/or hardware setting.
- Knowledge of working with mixed teams and functional areas, including product management, software engineering, hardware engineering, and UX/UI design.
- Proven ability to plan, manage, track, and deliver on commitments.
- Proven experience working at all stages of the product development lifecycle.
- Intellectual rigor and ability to pick up new skills quickly.
- Ability to work in a team effectively and/or work autonomously.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Capturing business needs and user requirements to support product realization.
- Previous experience working in embedded products or with hardware usability testing is ideal.
