Job SummaryWe are seeking compassionate and professional Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Care, the RPN will be responsible for providing direct resident care in line with organizational policies, legislative standards, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized Resident Care Plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Conduct timely assessments and observations of residents to identify their needs and preferences.
- Maintain a resident-centered environment that promotes dignity, respect, and comfort.
- Supervise and support Health Care Aides/Personal Support Workers to ensure quality care delivery.
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records to ensure continuity of care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in education and training activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to health and safety practices.
- Registered Practical Nurse certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- CPR certification.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Long Term Care is an asset.
- Additional training in related areas is a plus.
