Nurse Practitioner Position

The Bruce County is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a primary care provider, you will work closely with residents, families, and healthcare teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
This is a leadership role that requires exceptional communication and documentation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. You will be responsible for providing guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, leading quality improvement initiatives, and promoting evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote evidence-based practice
- Support and lead the nursing division
- Master's degree in Nursing and/or Geriatrics
- Current Certificate of Competence as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care facilities
