Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Road Maintenance Technician to join our team at Webber. As a key member of our infrastructure maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our roadways and infrastructure assets.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on roadways, bridges, and other infrastructure assets.
  • Set up and remove traffic control devices, including cones, message boards, and temporary signage.
  • Repair and maintain bridge structures, including railings, expansion joints, and painting.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as large trucks and specialized motor vehicles, to transport crew and equipment to work sites.
  • Perform litter and debris removal, and maintain a clean appearance of highways and medians.
  • Repair and maintain slopes, berms, culverts, drains, and other infrastructure features.
  • Control vegetation growth and appearance through lawn mowing, trimming, and chemical spraying.
  • Repair and maintain signs, guardrails, fences, and lighting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of work experience in infrastructure maintenance and repair preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Class DZ/AZ driver's license and OTM Book 7 highly desirable.

Work Environment

Work will be performed in a variety of outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures, wet and humid conditions, and exposure to traffic and noise.


Physical demands of the job include standing, sitting, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces required.
