About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Oak & Stone Constructions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coaching and Development: Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices, promoting their growth and development in the field.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve irregularities and malfunctions in equipment and machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and lead other workers, providing direction and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Fabrication and Estimation: Fabricate parts required for maintenance, overhaul, or setup, and estimate costs and materials for projects.
  • Operational Excellence: Operate machining tools to fabricate parts, install machinery and equipment, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Technical Expertise: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient work execution.

  • Physical Demands: The role requires handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Workplace Information
  • Work Type: On-the-road job, with a focus on maintaining equipment and machinery in various locations.
  • Work Schedule: 35-40 hours per week, with a focus on ensuring seamless equipment operation and maintenance.
