Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Oak & Stone Constructions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment
  • Supervise other workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Estimate costs and materials for maintenance and repair projects
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and perform maintenance tasks
  • Install and maintain machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely and efficiently
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate maintenance and repair

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with heavy physical demands
  • Stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure equipment is operational

Workplace Information:

  • On-the-road job with regular travel to construction sites
  • Permanent full-time position with 35-40 hours per week
  • English language required for communication and documentation
