Job Summary:

CSA Group is seeking a Co-op Student to support the Operational Excellence Manager in driving change through the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data and process analysis and make conclusions for the supervisor to review.
  • Assist with other project and program activities related to strategic initiatives, and conduct related research as needed.
  • Support the membership team with administrative tasks associated with the annual conference.
  • Interface with the membership and standards development team.

Requirements:

  • Completion of second year or higher in an undergraduate program.
  • Knowledge of process improvement, change management, and project management would be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of standards development and business processes is an asset.
  • Experience working with volunteers and/or multi-stakeholder groups would be an asset.

Skills:

  • Excellent people skills: managing relationships, facilitating, and networking with people at all levels with divergent interests and backgrounds.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and planning skills. Detail and process orientation.
  • High degree of self-motivation, initiative, resilience, and adaptability.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player.
  • Strong computer skills (word processing, presentation software, project planning software, spreadsheets, etc.).
