Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Project Coordinator to oversee and manage the delivery of data-centric projects, focusing on analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights within our organization. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that these initiatives align with business objectives and provide valuable insights to stakeholders.

This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively. A passion for Data and Artificial Intelligence is essential, as you'll manage and streamline activities to drive success and innovation.

Responsibilities
  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business stakeholders to identify and document reporting needs, translating them into clear data and reporting requirements.
  2. Bridge Between Business and Technical Teams: Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring that high-level insights are accurately reflected in reporting solutions.
  3. Team Coordination: Coordinate and support diverse teams, including BI Developers, Data scientists, and Data engineers.
  4. Task Management: Facilitate task assignments, provide necessary support, and help maintain a collaborative and positive work environment.
  5. Project Planning: Ensure that project tasks are carried out according to the established plan.
  6. Progress Tracking: Track progress against set metrics, address issues as they arise, and assist in achieving project milestones within the budget and timeline.
  7. Quality Assurance: Assist with quality assurance by supporting regular reviews and audits of project deliverables.
  8. Escalation Management: Manage project-related escalations by facilitating resource mobilization and involving senior leadership if needed.
  9. Decision Support: Support decision-making processes and help resolve issues to keep the project on track.
  10. Reporting and Dashboards: Prepare clear and concise dashboards and updates for Directors and senior stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a Project Coordinator role, successfully delivering strategic and high-priority enterprise projects that are cross-organizational and complex.
  • Skills: Hands-on approach to project execution and stakeholder engagement, actively participating in project activities and maintaining effective communication with all involved parties.
  • Candidate Profile: Strong executive presence with the ability to quickly establish credibility and build trust with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
  • Negotiation and Influencing Skills: Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with a proven track record of developing strong working relationships with stakeholders across various levels.
  • Conceptual Thinking: Strong conceptual and critical thinking abilities to analyze multiple sources of information, including stakeholder input, and develop effective solutions and recommendations.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to tailor your communication style to different audiences and influence outcomes effectively.
  • Adaptability: Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity, with the ability to remain flexible and manage uncertainty effectively.
  • Data Analysis: Proficient in SQL, report development, and data analysis, with experience in Data Lakes, Data Marts, and Data Warehouses.
  • BI Tools: Knowledgeable in GitHub for version control and BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $46,500 - $61,500 USD and $55,500 - $70,500 CAD per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and individual pay is determined by job-related skills and experience demonstrated during the interview process.
