Job Title and Responsibilities

The University of British Columbia seeks a highly skilled Analyst, Projects and Initiatives to support the Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Associate Scientific Director, Scientific Director, and Institute staff to develop and execute work plans and deliverables.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to research facilitation activities that promote patient engagement, knowledge mobilization, and open science.
  • Conduct literature reviews and environmental scans to develop summary reports in support of institute initiatives.
  • Develop reports, analyses, and presentations to ensure effective strategic development and implementation of projects/initiatives.
  • Manage and update Institute records, including funding data, asset maps, stakeholder and reviewer lists.
  • Participate in weekly operational meetings and contribute to the development of key initiatives.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, plus a minimum of two years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Fluency in both official languages is an asset.
  • Experience in preparation of health-related reports and publications.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
