Job Title: Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at CAR - JON FAMILY RESTAURANTS. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant during peak hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Manage Inventory: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Management: Supervise and check assembly of trays, supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and you will be required to work under pressure. You will be standing for extended periods and will be required to lift and move heavy objects.
