We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Almag Aluminum.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work in a fast-paced environment, driving technical innovation and excellence in IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in server infrastructure, virtualization, storage devices, and Active Directory services. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and resilient converged networks that enable seamless communication and collaboration between IT and OT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure projects, including network architecture, server, physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
  • Analyze current IT systems and identify areas for improvement, providing recommendations for enhancements and upgrades.
  • Develop and implement best practices across systems and applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement IT/OT converged systems that meet business requirements.
  • Provide expert-level support and guidance on IT infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues, and escalating as necessary.
  • Manage IT infrastructure projects, design, installation, upgrade, migration, configuration, integration, and testing.
  • Perform monitoring, OS, and software upgrades, and regular maintenance of servers, storage, and other equipment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • At least 5 years' experience in supporting server infrastructure, virtualization, storage devices, and Active Directory services.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Technologies and infrastructure services, including Windows Servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Server Administration.
  • Experience with integrating IT/OT security and convergence experience is an asset.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft, VMware, and CCNA, are an advantage.
What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including profit sharing, health care spending account, education assistance program, health and dental insurance, life AD&D insurance, long-term disability insurance, critical illness insurance, and gym memberships.
