The B.C. is seeking a Head Chef Coordinator to lead our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating special events, determining food portion sizes and costs, planning menus, preparing meals, maintaining inventory, and managing kitchen staff.

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced professional with at least 7 months of experience in a similar role. You will work 30-40 hours per week and have a permanent position with us.

As a Head Chef Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating special events and catering services
  • Determining food portion sizes and costs to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Planning menus and estimating food requirements to meet demand
  • Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Managing kitchen operations, including supervising staff and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards

In exchange for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $35,000-$45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
