About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Lake View Chinese Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
  • Order supplies and equipment to ensure we have the necessary resources to maintain our high standards.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure we are operating efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of quality and presentation.
Work Environment

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to prepare and cook meals for our customers. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
