Cleaning Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Jyllikleen Cleaning Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our cleaning staff and ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning professionals who are equipped to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our facilities meet our high standards for cleanliness and safety.
- Task Management: Coordinate and prioritize tasks to ensure that our cleaning staff are working efficiently and effectively.
- Service Recommendations: Identify opportunities to improve our services and make recommendations to our management team.
- Staff Support: Provide guidance and support to our cleaning staff to help them perform their duties to the best of their ability.
- Work Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that our cleaning staff are working at optimal levels.
- Partnerships: Collaborate with government and community programs to support the settlement and integration of newcomers and refugees.
- Settlement Support: Assist newcomers and refugees with their immediate settlement needs, including housing, transportation, and other essential services.
- Integration Support: Help newcomers and refugees to access community resources, language training, and skills training to support their social and labour market integration.
- Recruitment: Recruit newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disaster to join our team.
- Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition to help them access employment opportunities.
- Mentorship: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees to support their integration into our team.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
- Employment Equity: Apply hiring policies that promote employment equity and discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
