Clothing Designer Job Description

East End Tailoring Ltd. is seeking a skilled Clothing Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish clothing designs that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor junior designers and staff to ensure high-quality designs and timely completion of projects.
  • Develop and teach interest or professional development courses to enhance the skills of our team members.
  • Design and create clothing settings, scenic environments, and costumes for various exhibitions and events.
  • Collaborate with our exhibit designers to plan and develop permanent and temporary exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, and retail spaces.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in fashion design or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of fashion trends, fabrics, and textiles.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
