We are seeking a highly skilled Clothing Designer to join our team at East End Tailoring Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fashion design, with experience in supervising staff and teaching interest or professional development courses.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing settings, scenic environments, costumes, and lighting for various exhibitions and events. They will also plan and develop permanent and temporary exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the design team
- Teaching interest or professional development courses to staff and clients
- Designing settings, scenic environments, costumes, and lighting for exhibitions and events
- Planning and developing permanent and temporary exhibits and displays for various exhibitions and events
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fashion design principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. They will also be able to distinguish between colors and have a strong attention to detail.
