Grill Cook Team Member

At The Corner House Pub and Grill, we are looking for a skilled Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and a strong focus on providing excellent customer service. Our grill cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes, ensuring that every plate that goes out is of the highest quality. This role also involves supervising kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and ensuring that our kitchen and work areas are clean and well-maintained. If you have a background in food preparation, are able to work in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
