Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at The Corner House Pub and Grill. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory, and record food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Staff Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and recruit and hire new staff members.
  • Event Planning: Organize buffets and banquets, and manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, or equivalent experience.
Working Conditions
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
