Grill Cook

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at The Corner House Pub and Grill. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including meats, vegetables, and sides, to meet the demands of our busy kitchen.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work 35 hours per week in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Fluency in English.
