Job Description

The Dispatch Coordinator will be responsible for the communication and coordination of transporting bins to and from customer locations with our drivers throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and record calls from customers
  • Input details from customers to generate work order packages
  • Schedule and dispatch drivers
  • Assist in processing of completed work orders
  • Oversee driver pickup and delivery
  • Customer focused approach with an emphasis on maintaining client and employee relations

Requirements

  • 2-5 years' experience in a dispatch and/or project coordinator function
  • Post-secondary education in logistics, transportation and/or business or equivalent training and/or on the job experience
  • Experience or knowledge of waste industry
  • CDL Driver Preferred (Class 1 or 3)
