About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Leader to join our team in Canada. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the finance function for our Canadian operations, working closely with senior management to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve business objectives and drive growth in the Canadian market.
  • Lead a team of finance professionals to provide high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and planning support to the business.
  • Manage and maintain financial systems, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Provide guidance and direction to junior finance staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas, such as sales and marketing, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to processes and procedures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment and effective communication of financial information.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior finance leadership role, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improvement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP.

Compensation Package

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary range of $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
