Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Program Services Caseworker to join our team at The Salvation Army. As a key member of our residential facility, you will play a vital role in supporting clients and contributing to the day-to-day operations of the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain an active caseload and provide primary support casework to clients.
  • Conduct intake and assessments, create service plans, and provide case management services and clinical interventions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and services to support clients.
  • Record activities and incidents occurring during shifts in a factual and concise manner.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including reporting and documentation.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent post-secondary education.
  • Valid Ontario Class "G" Driver's License and a current copy of a Driver's abstract.
  • Experience working with homelessness, mental health, and related issues.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • This is a permanent full-time position with a 42-hour weekly schedule.
  • Shift schedules may vary, with minimal travel required.
  • Work will be conducted onsite at Belinda's Place, with occasional work outside of the facility building.
