The Government of Nunavut is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Federal Contributions and Relations to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for developing, negotiating, and implementing agreements between the Government of Nunavut and the Federal Government and third parties.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and negotiate agreements with the Federal Government and third parties
- Implement and manage agreements to ensure successful outcomes
- Provide objective analysis and advice to capital planning decision makers
- Work with staff across the Department of Community and Government Services and other departments to coordinate and obtain input in developing applications for federal funding
- Manage the human and financial resources of the Federal Contributions and Relations Unit
- Recognized relevant degree
- Five (5) years of financial management experience, including contracts and financial analysis
- One (1) year of progressive supervisory or management experience
- CPA designation considered an asset
- Fluency in two or more of Nunavut's official languages
- Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, land, Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, Inuktut, and experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment
- Competitive salary range: $117,746 to $133,647 per year
- Northern Allowance: $16,008 per year
- Opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the development of Nunavut
