About the Role:

The Manager, Federal Contributions and Relations will develop, negotiate, and implement agreements between the Government of Nunavut and the Federal Government and third parties related to investments in transformative public infrastructure in Nunavut.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on contract negotiations and documentation
  • Complete internal/external reporting requirements
  • Provide objective analysis, support, and advice to capital planning decision makers
  • Work with staff across the Department of Community and Government Services and other departments
  • Coordinate and obtain input in developing applications for federal funding

Requirements:

  • Recognized relevant degree
  • Five (5) years of financial management experience, including contracts and financial analysis
  • One (1) year of progressive supervisory or management experience
  • CPA designation considered an asset

Language of Work:

The Official Languages of Nunavut are Inuktut, English, and French. Fluency in two or more of Nunavut's official languages is considered an asset.

Working Environment:

The Government of Nunavut is committed to creating a representative workforce and will give priority to Nunavut Inuit who self-identify as being enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement.
