About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC. As a key member of our WHS Governance team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and health regulations across our North American operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between WHS Governance and all business units, providing strategic alignment and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to respond to all safety and health regulatory responses, drafting and editing regulatory response letters and other documents for submission to regulatory agencies.
  • Build and grow competencies in safety and health issues affecting all business units, supporting the development of WHS standards and procedures.
  • Assist in developing and deploying a standard method for monitoring work performed by the team and consultants hired to support the work of the team.
  • Lead process efficiency and compliance effectiveness through process verification and validation plans, identifying trends related to regulatory interactions.
  • Monitor performance of business units against applicable regulatory compliance and internal Amazon standards.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require 3+ years of program or project management experience, delivering cross-functional projects and managing complex problem-solving initiatives. You should also have experience using data and metrics to determine improvements, owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

In addition, we are looking for individuals with excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and a Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on your location and qualifications.
