Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at BSW BEAUTY SUPPLY O/A REX BEAUTY INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure effective task delegation
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet business needs
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage store finances
  • Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels
  • Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including stockroom and display areas
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic retail environment
