Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at The UPS Store.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training or arranging for training of staff, and authorizing payments by cheque.
They will also be responsible for exhibiting designers planning and developing permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces and other exhibitions, as well as ordering merchandise, authorizing returns, and establishing work schedules.
Additionally, the Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for selling merchandise, preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters, resolving issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages, and organizing and maintaining inventory.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise staff and assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Authorize payments by cheque
- Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays
- Order merchandise and authorize returns
- Establish work schedules
- Sell merchandise and prepare reports
- Resolve issues and maintain inventory
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail store environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management
