At Frugo the go between store, we are seeking a skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of sales workers, ensuring a high standard of customer service and sales performance is maintained.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and supervise their performance.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage the store's cash handling procedures.
  • Order merchandise and ensure stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and manage the store's returns process.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure the store is adequately staffed at all times.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to customers.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform store management.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
