We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at ONTARIO CORPORATION. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles, with experience in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. You will be responsible for maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, posting journal entries, and preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.

In addition to your technical skills, you will be a strong communicator with excellent organizational and time management skills. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP diploma in accounting or related field
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping and accounting
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
