As a key member of the ONTARIO CORPORATION team, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks related to financial record-keeping and reporting. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and other financial statements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Payroll Administration: Process payroll, including calculating and preparing cheques for employees.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of financial transactions.
