Global Middle Office Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Middle Office Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support, prioritizing tasks as necessary, and ensuring the smooth execution of trade matching, settlements, and post-settlements processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day operational support, prioritizing tasks as necessary
- Actively manage risks, including operational, reputational, and settlement risks
- Ensure a strong understanding of tasks assigned, including investment concepts, best practices, and system requirements
- Participate in cross-skilling assignments and contribute to the development of process documents
- Manage and maintain good working relationships with Front Office, Onshore, and Offshore counterparts
- Support analysis to identify root causes of production problems and errors, and develop timely solutions
- Propose projects and process automations to promote service excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business course
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience in Trade Support, Middle Office, Investment Operations, and/or Fund Accounting
- Hybrid work arrangement: amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home, with a willingness to work on fixed night shift schedules
Domain Knowledge Requirements
- Understanding of trade support functions and the trade life cycle
- Fundamental knowledge of investment transactions, trade lifecycle, and various asset classes
- Good working knowledge of Bloomberg and other pricing/data sources
- Knowledge of BBG, SCD, Custodian Portals is highly preferred
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data management, pricing, settlements, reconciliation, transactions, and transfers processes
