Global Middle Office Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Middle Office Analyst to join our team at Manulife. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our business units, ensuring seamless trade processing, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day operational support, prioritizing tasks as necessary, to ensure timely and accurate trade processing.
- Actively manage risks, including operational, reputational, and settlement risks, to maintain a high level of quality and control.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with front office, onshore, and offshore counterparts to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Support analysis to identify root causes of production problems and errors, and develop timely solutions to mitigate risks.
- Propose process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance service excellence and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in trade support, middle office, investment operations, or fund accounting.
- Strong knowledge of securities instruments and investment operational processes.
- Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to understand process design and implement improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
