We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Shopper Marketing to drive our brand's growth in the new normal. To succeed, you will leverage your omni-marketing approach and in-depth understanding of the shopper to fuel brand love and consumer conversion.

This hybrid role based out of our Canadian head office offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategy and plans development, achieve budget commitments, and enhance return on investment through improved consumer and shopper engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Shopper/Omni Marketing: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop high-impact shopper activations, leveraging shopper insights and trends to drive growth and profitability.
  • POS & Merchandising: Collaborate with Retail Sales to optimize in-store POS and merchandising materials, manage retail team website ordering portal, and oversee POS inventories.
  • Operational Support: Lead key operational vendor relationships to ensure continual improvement in execution and process efficiencies, manage annual shopper marketing budget, and oversee related day-to-day financial administration.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Oversee one direct report, responsible for performance management, talent development, and mentoring.
  • Capability Development: Support the development and delivery of annual marketing learning and development programs, partnering with global and US teams to roll-out foundational training.

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of CPG food-relevant shopper/retail environments
  • In-depth experience with shopper marketing and omni-channel planning; Brand management or agency-side experience is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and people management skills
  • Strong analytical skills; familiarity with Nielsen consumption and key marketing metrics is an asset
  • Previous financial experience including P&L understanding and budget management
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, multi-task, and work effectively under pressure, managing conflicting priorities from multiple sources.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
