About the Opportunity

At WSP Canada, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer-in-Training to join our Municipal Engineering and Land Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance in the design and development of municipal infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of feasibility reports, grading and earthworks calculations, and preliminary and detailed design of civil roadworks, water supply systems, sanitary sewers, and stormwater systems.
  • Conduct site inspections and investigations, and provide technical support and assistance to project teams.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of project progress and technical information.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a consulting environment on municipal design projects.
  • Eligibility for registration with EGBC.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D and municipal infrastructure modelling software is an asset.
