Competitive SalaryThe successful candidate can expect a competitive annual salary in the range of $85,000 - $120,000 depending on experience.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster (Remote – Southern Saskatchewan) to join our team. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, negotiating, and settling personal lines, auto, farm, liability, commercial, and injury claims in accordance with company policies and procedures in an assigned geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and analyze claims to determine their validity and extent of coverage.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and third-party vendors to ensure fair and timely resolutions.
- Communicate policy terms and conditions to insureds, claimants, and solicitors.
- Report claims information to senior claims personnel and/or VP, Claims as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service to insureds and claimants, ensuring they feel supported and secure throughout the claims process.
- Lead by example, training and guiding clerical staff to ensure seamless delivery of claims services.
- High School Grad: Completion of Grade 12 education.
- Insurance Wizard: Successful completion of at least two Insurance Institute courses along with a positive commitment toward completion of the CIP designation, demonstrated by completing two Insurance Institute courses per year.
- Experience Counts: A minimum five (5) years experience in the industry.
- Master Communicator: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail Detective: Fantastic detail-orientation skills to make informed decisions when it comes to claims.
