Front Desk Agent

We are looking for a dynamic, guest services oriented individual with a strong work ethic to join our Front Desk team. Reporting to the Manager, this full-time role will primarily be assisting guests with check-in/check-out experience, making new reservations, answering phones and answering guest questions such as directions,dining recommendations.
**Key Responsibilities**
Offers guests assistance.
- Responsible for resolving customer relations issues.
- Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel booking policies and services.
- Must respond to and follow-up on all guest requests to ensure customers are satisfied with the hotel’s services and accommodations.
- Responsible for positively representing and promoting the property.
- Ensures systems and procedures are in place and followed for guest safety and security
- Take, cancel and change room reservations
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services
- Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Investigate and resolve complaints and claims
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
- Provide general information about points of interest in the area
- Follow emergency and safety procedures
- Handle wake-up calls
- Provide customer service
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
**Previous experience in a hotel is considered an asset.**
