SickKids Foundation, a leading national charity, is seeking an innovative Data Analytics Leader to drive strategic impact across the organization. This newly created role reports directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and leads a talented team of analysts and data scientists.

Job Description

We are searching for a seasoned leader to shape the future of our Business Intelligence and Analytics team. As Data Analytics Leader, you will empower teams across the organization by providing the analytics, reporting, and strategic intelligence needed to maximize impact.

Your leadership will focus on:

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive our mission and bring our strategic plan to life as an active member of the senior leadership team.
  • Business Intelligence and Analytics Technology Management: Lead the development of analytical dashboards, enhance and oversee advanced BI and Analytics platforms, and design cloud-based analytics architectures.
  • Team Leadership: Develop, lead, and manage a diverse, talented, and high-performing team, supporting their efforts to achieve key performance indicators.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 10-15 years of experience in data science or related roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership positions.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Doctorate is an asset.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive BI strategies.
  • Proficiency in cloud analytics and business intelligence tools.
  • The ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

This is a full-time position, with a 35-hour work week and flexible work options available. The estimated salary for this role is $120,000-$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
