About the Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information across our global operations. As a member of our finance team, you will be accountable for managing all aspects of financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and complete financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with management to establish and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
  • Lead and coach the corporate accounting team to achieve high-quality financial reporting and analysis.
  • Support treasury functions, including cash management and short-term financing.
  • Coordinate audit activities, including statutory audits and corporate audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 10 years of financial accounting experience, including at least 5 years as a manager.
  • Excellent knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, or ASPE, with experience in complex accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Bilingualism required - fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
  • Leadership and ability to influence and lead projects with people not directly reporting to you.
